Hire · Swift & SwiftUI

Hire iOS developers who have survived App Store review.

Dedicated Swift and SwiftUI engineers — StoreKit subscriptions, push and VoIP, codesigning pipelines and the review-day discipline that only comes from shipping real apps.

Hourly from $28/hr. Shortlist: 48 hours. Contracts: month-to-month.

What they do

What our iOS developers handle end to end.

The full native surface — from a SwiftUI screen to the provisioning profile that lets it reach a device.

Native apps in SwiftUI

Modern declarative UI with Combine or async/await data flows — apps that feel like Apple built them.

UIKit maintenance & migration

Keeping mature UIKit codebases healthy and migrating to SwiftUI screen by screen — no big-bang rewrites.

App Store submission & review

Privacy labels, permission strings, review notes, demo accounts — and the rejection-appeal loop when Apple pushes back.

Push, VoIP & CallKit

APNs and PushKit with CallKit incoming-call UI — ringing that works even when the app has been killed.

StoreKit 2 & subscriptions

In-app purchases, subscription tiers, offer codes and server-side receipt validation that survives edge cases.

Core Data, SwiftData & sync

Local persistence, CloudKit or custom-backend sync and migration paths that never eat user data.

Background modes & location

Audio, location updates, background fetch and processing tasks tuned to iOS's scheduler — and to Apple's rules.

Widgets & Live Activities

Home-screen widgets, lock-screen complications and Live Activities that keep your app visible between opens.

Performance with Instruments

Time Profiler, Allocations and hang detection — hunting memory leaks, slow launches and dropped frames with data.

Codesigning & CI pipelines

Certificates, provisioning profiles, fastlane match and Xcode Cloud — the plumbing that breaks at the worst time, kept boring.

Native modules for RN & Flutter

Swift modules bridged into cross-platform apps — calling, HealthKit, camera pipelines and vendor SDKs.

Security & Keychain

Keychain storage, biometric auth, certificate pinning and App Transport Security configured properly, not disabled.

Tooling

The iOS stack they work in daily.

Current-generation Apple tooling, plus the legacy layers every shipping app still carries.

How it works

From brief to first TestFlight build in four steps.

Every iOS candidate is screened on apps that made it through review — App Store links, not just repos.

  1. 1

    Brief

SwiftUI or UIKit, minimum iOS version, the frameworks you lean on and hours per week.

  2. 2

    Match

2–3 screened iOS candidates within 48 hours, each with shipped App Store work.

  3. 3

    Interview

You interview. You decide. Ask about their last 4.3(b) or 2.1 rejection and what fixed it.

  4. 4

    Start

Onboarded within 72 hours — scoped Apple Developer access, project building, first PR in week one.

FAQ

Hiring iOS developers — common questions.

SwiftUI or UIKit?

Both. New screens are typically SwiftUI; most real-world apps still carry UIKit, so our developers are comfortable in mixed codebases — hosting SwiftUI in UIKit, bridging with UIViewRepresentable and migrating screen by screen.

Can they get an app through App Store review?

Yes — including apps that have already been rejected. They prepare privacy nutrition labels, permission strings, review notes and demo accounts, and handle the resubmission loop. We have shipped our own products through TestFlight and review repeatedly.

Do they work inside React Native or Flutter apps?

Yes. A common engagement is native-module work inside a cross-platform app: PushKit/CallKit calling, background audio, HealthKit, widgets or a vendor SDK with no JS/Dart wrapper. They write the Swift, expose a clean bridge and document it. For the cross-platform side, see our React Native developers.

Who owns certificates, provisioning and the Apple account?

You do. Work happens in your Apple Developer account with roles scoped to what the developer needs. Signing assets, App Store Connect access and push keys remain under your control throughout and after the engagement.

What does a dedicated iOS developer cost?

Hourly engagements start from $28/hour. Part-time and full-time dedicated monthly rates depend on seniority and duration — we quote in writing after a short brief, with no obligation until you have interviewed the candidates.

Need a Swift engineer on your app?

Tell us your iOS version floor, frameworks and hours per week. You will have 2–3 screened iOS CVs within 48 hours.
